A Night for Monique - Limited Edition shirts by Gliffix Printing Services

Gliffix have this week been printing limited edition shirts that will be sold at a remembrance night for a young lady called Monique who unfortunately passed away due to illness.  The Night to celebrate her life and to raise funds for her Family and Heavens Hospice will be held on Friday 26th November at Chingford Assembly Hall, Station Road, E4 7EN.

Tribute Acts include: Boy Blue Ent, Unity Youth, Kayotik  Krump, Audra, Mike Hough and many more  
Host: Isaac 'Turbo' Baptiste
Tickets:£10 for Adults and £7 for under 16
This includes a free Buffet.

Unity Youth Dancers qualify for IDO Championships 2010

Gliffix clients Unity Dancers have qualified for the IDO Championships 2010 in Berlin

Here is a little bit about the Group.
9 girls, 9 personalities, 9 hearts, 1 dream!!! Unity Youth have been together for 15 months, trained in different styles of hip hop, these girls are using their passion and love for dance to entertain and grab the nations hearts.

Black Fashion Designers’ Network (BFDN)

Aspiring fashion designers are invited to a series of networking events which will start on Sunday 31 October 2010 in East London, where young aspiring fashion journalists will be in attendance to conduct interviews with designers who have news to impart. Fashion Designers’ and Craft makers Network will chronicle designer’s movements and what they will be involved over the next 12 months.
 
This information will be featured in bi-monthly e-newsletter, and will extended to aspiring Photographers, Models, Stylists, Hair Stylists, Make-up Artists.

The Radical Designer Award is a launch pad emerging designers and is designed for fashion designers who have a fashion label or about to set up a fashion house. This award gives each designer an opportunity to demonstrate that they are cutting edge design talent and are the ones to watch in the coming years. The award provides showcases for promising multi-cultural fashion designers offering them a platform to launch and promote their creative talents.

Gliffix prints for the Palace Project

This week we have been busy printing Shirts for Black History Month.
Lambeth based community group - The Palace project contacted as to print
African Mask inspired t-shirts for their Black History Month event.

Black History Month for The Palace Project is to educate and enlighten the younger generation of historic events which have taken place before, after and during their lifetimes.
The young people attending the project are working hard to make sure this year is memorable and enjoyable for their parents, friends and com-munity living in and around the Centre.
Come and take part in the Black History Month Extravaganza and get to know your community.
The Palace Project invites you to the grand opening on Friday the 8th of October 2010 @ 3:00pm. (Cheese and Wine Provided)
